These afghan squares were knitted by a friends mother and I crocheted around them to join them together. It is destined to be a warm and cosy throw for a resident of the retirement home in Cohuna where I attend the Spinners and Weavers Group. Got to admit I loved putting this together and once I started I really couldn’t stop. Isn’t that always the way with something you enjoy?
Now of course that that afghan is finished I’m itching to start making one for myself. With holidays starting today and a week away – something relaxing involving wool and knitting needles or crochet hook will be just the thing.
