Don’t faint – two posts in one day is unheard of lately but this does deserve a post all of it’s very own.

Nicola has finally finished “Owly”.

He has been a long running project but one that she wanted to make and (with just a few hints) made mostly by herself.  I did very little which was nice.  I thought the sudden desire to finish him was a bit strange – he has been wingless and beakless for a few months – but then I was informed  that the local agricultural show is in October and Nicola has decided to enter him.  There is always a reason.

With Owly finished she is now trying to decide what else she can make.  I have to tell you thought that  Nicola has also been bitten by the spinning bug and is just beginning to work out how to spin her own wool.  What – you were surprised at that…vbg.  She is MY daughter after all….roflmol.

  1. Owly is very cute. Good luck in the show (and with spinning).

My daughter has a quilt’s worth of fabric sitting on the dresser. She says she has plans. Maybe like her mother she is better at planning than sewing. LOL

Thank you for leaving a comment. I love to read your thoughts on my posts and I do try to respond, sometimes though life gets in the way.
